Guests may choose an early or later start, with earlier departures offering cooler temperatures. One of our guides will transport you approximately 4.5 miles upstream, allowing you to canoe downstream back toward the resort.

Along the riverbanks, watch for Neotropic Cormorants, Mangrove Swallows, Kingfishers, Gray-necked Wood-Rails, and other wildlife, including iguanas basking on overhanging branches.
